Slip Resistance
Slip resistance is the measure of tiled surface slipperiness. It is important for building professionals such as contractors and architects who are involved in the design and selection of a ceramic floor to ensure tiles with appropriate slip resistance are specified for areas which are potentially hazardous. Generally, a smooth and glossy tile surface is less slip resistant than a rough and uneven surface. At Ceramic Research Company, we offer 3 types of slip resistance test namely Pendulum Test, Ramp Test and Tortus Test.
